Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive (LIMA) is an effective training approach rooted in humane, ethical, and science-backed practices. At Zoomies Dog Training in Corvallis, OR, we use LIMA to emphasize positive, clear communication and build strong relationships through consistency and repetition. Basic Obedience

Got a new dog or a puppy? Whether it's your first dog or an older pet, learning essential obedience skills is key to a strong, healthy partnership. At Zoomies Dog Training in Corvallis, OR, we offer private obedience training for puppies and adult dogs, using a LIMA-based, positive reinforcement approach.

We teach foundational commands like sit, stay, come, heel, place, and door manners, helping you build a well-mannered, confident dog. Our training ensures lasting results and a positive bond between you and your dog.

Breakout Sessions

In this series, we use real-life scenarios to help your dog grow, focusing on practical training techniques that will benefit you both every day. Best for adult dogs who need practice for specific things. Let's discuss your goal and learn how we can achieve it.

Frequent concerns include better house manners like greeting at the door, barking, leash reactivity, and settling behaviors — so you can actually enjoy the patio weather. Learn leash handling skills that teach your dog to focus on you, the other end of the leash… without treats.
